Two projects for Papier Love

Here's a layout using the Wedding Collection by Making Memories.

Macy asked me if I can do one with her
darling daughter, Su Yi's photos.
I said why not? For this accordian album,
I used the Fancy Pants tag/journaling card.

Thanks for dropping by folks... time to dream now!!

Teacher's Day @ Krista BMC

Just a short update on our Teacher's Day celebration cum May & June birthday party at school!! The parents and students were very generous with food and gifts for the teachers. Everybody was having lotsa fun, for sure! Well I didn't get to snap many pics cause I was busy helping around with the food and the cakes. We had so much to eat. Yummy!!

I created albums for the teachers too. I did 4 recipe albums for the teachers, an accordian album for my ex-assistant, Liza & a note album for the principal. The recipe album was the toughest because I had to stamp the word r-e-c-i-p-e individually & doodled on each page. Each album had 12 pages. So you do the mathematic yourself. It was lotsa stamping. Phew! LOL!! But it was worthwhile to appreciate the teachers :)

The amount of gifts for the teachers.

Teacher Liza was super excited. Look at her!! LOL!!

Gifts exchanging among the teachers!

These are the gifts I received from the students and the teachers.
Alot eh?

Lovely flowers from my ex-students :)

Altered Frames

Every Tuesday (my close buddies know this), I volunteered myself to this very beautiful village called Kampung Tekir. I offered to teach the orang asli (aboriginal) children to read, write & learn. Of course to share the love of God with them. This is a part from my church services to the community. But last Tuesday I went there to do altered frame in conjunction with the Parents Day that we celebrated last Sunday. I called two of my scrapbook buddies and they agreed to lend a hand. Michelle sponsored embellishments & Agnes helped me painted 15 frames. Bless their kind souls! I did my share too, I painted the other 15 frames. It was really fun to see the excitement of the children when they decorate the frames. Something very new for them as they are not as fortunate as the children living in the city :)

Michelle, I promised you that I will snap pics for you to see, so here they are especially for you...

Finally...

Yup! Finally the phone has dial tone & the modem works!! I felt so relieved! Just can't wait to update this blog again ;) Will do so after my work. Stay tune chicas! Hugs.

Bag / Pouch?

Well this afternoon after chatted with my scrapbook-buddies, I thought it would be cool to do something fun on this warm Friday!! I bought this cool black & white tapes from Daiso without knowing what to do at first. But now I do.... a bag/pouch. Well I didn't have a sewing machine, so I did this bag/pouch was made out of duct tape & staples. Well, of course my work-"woman"-ship is sooooo amateurish... LOL!

Mother's Day Flowers

Today it was a fun day at school!! Everyone was making beautiful flowers for their beloved mums. I had my own version wherelse K2 & PH students did roses out of crepe papers. Mine was influenced by the scrapbooking embellishments I have, mine was more to daisy-looking. LOL!! I really enjoyed looking at their expressions and how excited they were making the flowers.

Waiting for the next instructions. Hehe!

So proud of my students that
they made these flowers by themselves!!
Hope all the mummies love it :)

This section below are the crepe-paper roses
done by the K2 Students.

Doesn't Alia look like Minnie Mouse? LOL.
