So this week over at the LCOM Monday Card Challenge, I would love to see you creating cards using origami design. Here is my card with the cute kimono-girl :)

Hope you can play along with us.

Twisted Sketch #020

I had alot of creative thinking to do since last week for design team & guest design team. Gosh, I have 2 more to go!! Twisted sketch was one of them and the twist is to use 'black, white & grey' on the layout. I'm glad that I have a white cat and also a grey cat. That solved my problem for photo wise. As I was searching through my stash, I was so relieved to see Basic Grey's Ambrosia Collection kit that I bought sometime ago. The colors were perfect, those are the colors I needed for my layout!! So now I present to you my Twisted layout with a little 'orangy' :)

The title 'Follow Your Bliss' was stamped & blinged up by Wati.
We had a transparency-title swap donkey years ago.
I was holding onto the title for the longest time and
FINALLY I got to use it!! It was just perfect for this layout.
Thanks Wati babe :)

So check out the other DT's interpretation on the sketch.
They did an awesome job!!

Time to go teach my students. Have a terrific Thursday everyone!

Krista Kids Updates!!

It has been ages I last update about my students! Bad Teacher... LOL!! Last Thursday, I brought the camera to school & managed to get some shots of the students during music & movement session. My two lovely assistants, Teacher Farah & Nani helped me so that I can get those snaps. They're my very helpful extra hands and feet! Thanks ladies *hugs*. Oh yeah managed to get some shots while they were playing toys with their friends! They've grown so much and definitely they have learnt alot over the months. They have learnt new songs every week & new facts too!! I'm proud to have these 25 students in my class!!

Music & Movement session...

All these were captured during break...

The last two pics are the Play House students.
They came to say hi & aren't they cute?

Can't wait for tomorrow's festival party at school!!
Gotta catch some sleep now :) Nite everyone!

A Card & A Layout

Yup, it's another layout & a card post again!! Just love how it sounded... hehe :) I used Making Memories Mistletoe collection for my creations. Another assignment given by Papier Love.

Loving the 'Merry Christmas' stamp that I loaned from Papier Love :)

I was actually quite worried of what photos to use on my Christmas layout because I don't have many Christmas photos & Malaysia has no snow! After sometime, I remembered my nephew's pictures that I snapped when he came to visit me during Christmas. That was in 2007. I was so happy to find a 'snowflake' pic that went very well with the background snowflake paper. Phew!! I really like how it turned out - classic red & green :)

Guess this year we won't put up the Christmas tree because our two fur-kids love to play with the embellishments on the tree. Trust me, they made the whole tree went tumbling down last year! Our very CAPABLE feline fur-kids but I still love them to death!!

Oh yeah I have a BIG announcement to make!! Macy (Papier's owner) has delivered a beautiful baby girl yesterday. She looks so adorable! Both mummy and baby are doing very well.
BIG congrats to Macy, Allan & Su Yi!

Have a good Friday, friends!!

My first "Twisted Sketches" layout

Remember those photos that Mr.Handsome and I captured on my birthday? If you can't remember or have not seen them, you can click HERE! I decided to use them on my first Twisted Sketches DT layout - sketch # 18. This week's twist is to use ribbon. I stamped "XOXO" on the ribbon & I actually loved it! Be sure to join us ok?

Those K&CO Amy Butler papers are to die for!! The colors are amazing. Scenic Route chipboards sentiments was perfect for this layout. I'm gonna miss Scenic Route, they are closing down :(

Anyways here is my twisted layout...

An altered project & A card

Christmas is just around the corner and I got to play with the latest Making Memories collection called the Mistletoe. Instead of making a layout, I did an altered clipboard project this time round! I always love altering, you should try too :) I had to borrow Tobes, my cat's body to snap the BEFORE. Well Tobes willingly allowed me too. So why not? LOL!!

And here's the AFTER...
I used the latest Making Memories Mistletoe collection.
I love the classic look of this collection.

Here's a Christmas card I made (just fresh from the oven) ...
Also using MM Mistletoe collection :)

So hurry up to Papier now and grab your share!! It's moving really fast, yup I kid you not!!
Stay tune for more Christmas projects.
