HB2U Card

I made this HB2U card especially for my good friend, Michelle for her birthday. She is truly a very special friend of mine. She was the one who gave me the courage and constantly encourage me to scrap. I am grateful for her generosity and kindness towards me & Mr Handsome. She is also one of the humblest person I ever met. Michelle, you are truly an inspiration to me and I know to many out there *winks*

I had to hold on to post this card here until I finally met her yesterday to pass her this & a birthday gift. Do hope that she likes them all :) I am all excited for tomorrow's photoshoot! Will post them at our photography blog when it is all done editing later!

LCOM Monday Challenge

Over at the LCOM, Jenn wanted us to make Christmas gift tags/cards but all the DTs made both and some made more. I joined the crowd too :) Here's what I did ...

Christmas Cardmaking Class

Hey peeps! Wanna shout out that I will be conducting a Christmas card-making class @ Papier Love. I am very excited for this class because Christmas is around the corner!! Woo hoo :)

Papier is also doing a charity drive for the Abacco Estate Children. We do hope kind samaritans will go to the store, pick a child's name & make his/her wishes come true.

Twisted Sketch #024

Hi it has been a week I last updated this little blog of mine!! As usual, caught up with work & teaching. But I am so touched that blogger-friends still drop by to leave me kind comments and I truly really appreciate them :)

So glad that my school concert is over now and the children of Krista BMC performed so well! Parents were happy to see their child on stage & teachers were so proud to see them performing & remembering every single dance steps being taught! Will post up those concert pics soon.

I love these photos I took with my sister. She came to visit me last month and we had a mini photoshoot at my home. Thanks to Mr.Handsome for all the beautiful shots. I have several more & need to find more time to scrap them.

I'm Featured!!!

Hey peeps!! Just wanna stop by to do a shout-out :) I was ecstatic to see my creations being featured at Making Memories's & Basic Grey's gallery website. Got to know that they are featured a few days ago but for the past 2 days I couldn't really find time to blog about it. So many different things have tied me down. School concert is this Saturday & the teachers are trying to get everything done on time & of course to make a memorable event for our dearest students. So here it is...

GJS Nov GDT

I'm so happy to let you know that I am Genuinely Jane Studio November Guest Designer. GJS is a scrapbooking album company in the States. I received the two albums in October and had so much fun creating them. Sue & Mark are awesome mini album artist. These are not chipboard albums I am talking about but they are made of wood!! LCOM Card Design Team Call

We are looking to add two new card makers to our present team. This is a 4 month term which will begin on December 1st and end on March 31st. International applicants are welcome.

To apply, please email Darlene three of your favorite cards before midnight (AST) on November 23rd, (these do not have to be new) at darlenedeon@ns.sympatico.ca.

The card team members are expected to come up with one challenge every 8 weeks for the team, and to participate by making one card for the other 7 challenges during those 8 weeks and most importantly, you must love to make cards!!!

Twisted Sketch #022

It's time for another Twisted Sketches layout! This week's twist is to use rub-ons on the layout. I managed to use 3. I love the photo too (well, I know self-praise is no praise...hehe). I photograph the photo by myself, using the mirrors at my hallway. I seriously {heart} photography and decided to scrap bout this photo. The Crate Paper- Cottage collection was just right.

Mind you my hand was itching to mist again.

Therefore I misted my layout!! LOL!!

Par-tay!

I have these photos in my photo folder for the longest time that I need to update it on the blog... like NOW :) The kids in our school came with their festival/traditional costumes for the Festival theme. They looked uber-cute with their costumes, as usual! My assistants & I paired the K1 students up to take photographs. LOL!! Some were shy but most of them swallow it down with courage, well you know the boy & girl thingy, holding hands and all. Don't be too innocent here aight? Haha. Well I guess I will let the photos do the talking. Photos overload for sure *winks*

Teacher Selvi was demonstrating to the chlildren the process of making 'kolum'. I remembered I snap the pic of the completed 'kolum' but I can seem to find it. Bummer!!

Well, I have no idea what is Razin & Jocelyn doing! LOL!

Well, JJ aka BabyBokChoy ... I was thinking the same thing when I saw the award at your blog a couple of days ago. I like it when JJ apologized that she has to give it to me. LOL! Scrap-It-Lah Nov Challenge

Scrap-It-lah is so glad to have Wati Basri as the Guest Designer for November. She is one heck of a creative scrapper! Her challenge was pretty tough. She made every DTs cracked their heads to get the title done!

Here is the challenge:

"Please scrap a layout with the title comprising of the letters - "S", "I" and "L" which are the acronyms of Scrap-it-Lah."

Told ya it's a tough cookie this time round. LOL!! Nevertheless, the DTs did it again. Everyone came out with a unique title & I did it too! Phew! Do check out HERE & please join us for the challenge too ok?

Mr.Handsome was kind enough to crack the title along with me. He reminded me of the photos we took on my birthday. The title works for the photos. I was relieved!!
