I am back with a pretty simple tutorial how I did my layout for Sketchabilities. Well it's more like how I tackle the sketch... LOL!! I just adore this sketch HERE. Multi-photos are so much fun!! Oh yeah, be sure to check out the sketch first before moving on so you'll get an idea what I am doing :)

For this layout, I mixed the new & old patterned papers created by Jenni Bowlin. Love the vintage feel!! She is brilliant, rite?

Get one of the patterned paper and use the Fiskars border puncher to create a scallop edge.

Next, cut a strip, 3 squares/rectangles and also the butterflies.
This is what it will look like :)

Then, I took out my Glimmer Mist and did my thing. I concentrated at the bottom and the top as I will fill the middle with papers and photos.

Glue the scallop edges down first and then follow by the brown piece somewhere in the middle of the paper. These strips of papers will help me to determine where I will place the photos, etc.

I love to create dimension on my layouts and foam dots are truly useful for that purpose. I stuck the foam dots on the first photo and this photo will be placed somewhere in the middle of the strips of papers.

Then, followed by another 2 more. One on the left and the other on the right. The positions are based on the sketch.

Side view.

Instead of using more photos, I replaced with the squares in between of the photos. I paste them flat instead using the foam dots. This is how it will look from the bottom view.

Once you are done with the positioning of the photos and the with tiny patterned papers, just slip the butterflies in between the photos to create a more natural look to it. Position all the butterflies before you stick them down. I placed foam dots to most of the butterflies wings to create an interesting look.

To create dimension to the wing, I pinched the end of the wing. You may add other embellies like blings, stickers and of course journaling to complete your layout! That's sums it all :)
Drum roll please....

Ta daa... here's the finished layout!!
Below are some close up shots of the layout...

Well that's all for tonite folks! It's time to hit the sack and dream...
Nite nite!! Thanks for dropping by and leaving me some love... as usual :)
p/s: pls let me know if you manage to find time to create using the Sketchabilities sketch because I'd love to see :)
