Smidapaper May Challenge

I created this layout about a week ago when I saw Smidapaper was having a color challenge. Totally forgot to post it until just now. My bad! The colors for the challenge matched the Crate Paper: Potrait Collection perfectly! I jumped straight into it because I only had about an hour or so then before the challenge closed.

Here's my take...

I was so glad that my wedding reception gown was perfect for the colors too. These pre-wedding shots were taken 6 years ago and we had so much fun in the studio. Something that I will remember for a long time tho' we spent 12 hours shooting :)

These days, cameo is a trend & I think these are perfect on the layout!

"Our Day" is a perfect title! And those butterflies are just adorable... don't you think so?

Circle of Love

Hey peeps!! I am back to share with you another layout using the beautiful Donna Salazar's Spring Bloom collection. Coming from a country called Malaysia that is only almost summer all year long, I seriously love the idea of Spring. Flowers bloom, butterflies flutter, birds chirp... I can only imagine. Hence I created a layout that resembles Spring for our lil family...

This layout is pretty simple to create. These days I love white space and let me show you how I created my simple layout :)

Scrappy steps:

1. First, I misted the background, somewhere in the middle using Tea Party and followed by masking with Pralines & Cream (use negative of foam dots).

2. Stamp the background with script stamp & adhere only the middle of the photo.

3. Then, layer the roses cut-outs along with punched circle.

4. Continue to slot in circles all around the photo as well as the paper ribbons.

5. Paste & arrange the punched butterflies. Use jute/twine to create the butterflies' "movements".

6. Lastly, create a title. My title was inspired by the circles on my layout :)

Nook May Kit!

I am so glad that I managed to create with Nook May's kit right after I have completed the April's kit a few days back. Still very much into white space... ya'll know the phases in life. Lol. Ready for another set of my creations... *giggles*. WARNING: LOADED with PHOTOS!!

Created this card using Ingrid's sketch. Her sketches are so AMAZING that it made it easy to create!

This was inspired by DT Danni to create a layout using packaging. You know how much I love packaging *giggle*. I used Prima here :)

Early April, Eric and his bandmate called Ten Thousand Talents was invited to play at our church camp. I was there early and managed to catch up with friends. Guess what... one of my church member has the same pair of shades but hers was more to brown-maroon kinda shade. What a co!

That Prima swirls are so delicious! So dainty....

Currently, that's my fav Martha Stewart punch. I gave myself a challenge to create mainly using that punch! At least I will use my stash... lol.

Love... love... love... the Basic Grey roses that I have to cut it out and use them on my layout! Don't you just love the orange-y background?! Lovely indeed!

YSS Projects

Hey hey!! It feels like a long time I last came back here to update my poor blog. Anyways, I am here to show you projects that I created for Your Scrapbook Stash DT assignments. This month I was given the fun LilyBee Designs - Picket Fences and This & That collection (papers & stickers)... yaays!

I was sitting down and was thinking what to scrap. This "Remember" topic came to mind. When I was young, my parents and grandma taught me alot of things - all sorts of life topics! And I wanna remember what they say again and hence this layout was created! Love all the little details on the LilyBee Designs.

Nook April Kit

You must be wondering what's with the title eh? It's already May and I am talking bout April?! Well, my Nook April kit somehow ended up at Vietnam. Lol. You know how crazy the postal systems can get. Part & parcel of life. So it only came to me somewhere first week of May. That's why I am late in posting my April kit just in case you're wondering :)

Today I was scrapping like a mad lady, basically I am "wasted". Haha. Well, I am pretty happy that I managed to be productive :) Ok, let's head straight to the creations of Nook April kit, shall we?

A card I created especially for my wonderful mother-in-law. It's also cum b'day card for her :) I am super blessed to have a super-awesome MIL!

I did this for the May Card Member Inspiration. I was inspired by the monochromatic colors!

I adore these photos of me and my nephew, Constantine! His mum passed away when he was about a year old. Well you can say that he never got to know his mum and it saddens me alot! I want to remind him to celebrate his life no matter how tough it can get because he deserves a good life just like any other kid out there! It's tearing me up... let's move on :)
