Fabulous

When we were told by Donna that we can go artistic for our assignments, I was thrilled because I love spritzing the Smooch to my heart's content. Well if you like playing with artsy stuffs & making your fingers messy or colorful, you'll know what I am mean. Lol.

Photobucket

For this FABULOUS layout, I used lots of Smooch Spritz. Let me share with you the colors that I got out to play - River Mossy, Caramel Latte, Green Olive, Pralines & Cream, Tea Party & Mixed Berries. Can you see I am having a "smooch-ing" party? Totally went to town for that dripping background *wink*

Photobucket
The flower is very simple to assemble, you just have to look out at the left side of Donna's blog. She has awesome step-by-step video for you. I kept mine simple - only use 2 pieces of the Spellbinder die-cuts on Crafty Chronicle paper. Of course, you have to make it pretty by using the Fairy Glitter Dust. The perfect adhesive for the glitter is Glue Gloss. You should so try it :)

Photobucket
Layering is one of my favourite things to do on layouts! I can't never live without beautiful quotes and an awesome title is a must!

Photobucket
Besides layering, another fav technique I enjoy is giving dimension to my creations! In this case, foam dots are my best friend! Hope you enjoy today's post by moi :) Oh yeah, before I sign off, remember to check out Donna's new products HERE & HERE. They are so darn pretty!!

Let's Play With Numbers

Hello creative people! Today I'd like to share with you a fairly simple tutorial on how to play with 'numbers'. Almost each month, in the Studio Calico kit you'll get pretty Sassafrass cardstock sticker. I love tiny alphas & numbers because you can simply create title/journaling out of them :)

Photobucket

Let me show you a fun way to use those sticker stash you might have in your SC kit...

Photobucket

First, I use one of my butterfly die on a kraft cardstock. You might also use shape punches.
Important tip: Die cut or punch your shape before sticking the alpha.

Photobucket
Once you are done sticking the numbers randomly, turn the butterfly to the back and trim off the excess. Voila, you are done!

Here's the completed layout & some close up shots...
Photobucket
FYI, the products on this layout are all in the present & past Studio Calico kit :)

Isn't that fun to play with cardstock stickers this way? C'mon dig up all the stickers and start playing. Oh yeah, remember to check out the Scrappin Studio store too for tons of yummies there :)

P/s: This was also created for Marcy CHA's Challenge :)

Challenge Me Happy - Challenge #3

Been pretty busy with things and here I am back with another layout I created for Challenge Me Happy. This time round we were given a sketch to play with. I am sure everyone loves playing with sketch, no?You can check the sketch HERE.

I decided to create a layout of Mr.Handsome's band called Ten Thousand Talents. They are a Christian band and all they want to share is God's love and the purpose in life. Isn't that amazing?! He plays the electric guitar and he pretty darn amazing! Oh yeah, you can check out their FB page HERE. Do check out their self-released music and gig videos as well.

Back to the layout, I thought it will be cool to play with mists, paints & inks. To give that "rocker" look to the layout. Lol.

Hope you can play along with the CMH challenge because you will stand a chance to win RAK!! Woo hoo! Thanks for dropping by again and be blessed!

The Clean & The Messy

Hey again! This time round I will show you what I created mainly using only the Studio Calico July's add-on kit called "Knickers". I have created 2 layouts : the clean and the messy look. Let's move on...

Photobucket
Here is my version of clean. The papers and the embellies are carefully chosen & structured to achieve such look. I also kept this layout minimal because of the busy background :)

Now, I present to you the messy look. I played with ink, mist and medium too. Inside this awesome add-on kit, there is this yummy stamp named Chevron Background. Totally reminded me of the tire trails. BTW, are you aware that the kit stamps are now collaborated with Hero Arts? If you have no idea, now you got the news :)

Each month, there are at least 4 add-on kits for you to choose and they are priced reasonably too. You can click HERE for more info. So wait no more, go grab your fav now!

Have a good week peeps!
